Senior Architectural Technician
We are looking for a highly motivated career focused professional to join our project team on a full time basis who will work with the Directors of the company and other professionals to efficiently deliver architectural projects and assist with the delivery of architectural services on multi-disciplinary projects.

What does the role involve?
The role will involve planning and coordinating the workload of the architectural team, working face to face with the Directors, clients and outside consultants to ensure project outcomes, timescales and budgets are effectively managed, and will require the supervision and training of junior staff.
What qualifications or experience are required?
We would expect the successful candidate to hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification in Architecture or Architectural Technology, with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, to understand and be able to operate within the RIBA Plan of Work and to be able to meet the standards of professional performance required by the ARB and RIBA Codes of Conduct.
Is there any more to know?
We work in an accessible, modern, bright suite and enjoy a fully adjustable sit-stand environment, where we currently use AutoCAD LT & Google Sketchup with Enscape architectural software (a familiarity with these will be necessary for a successful entry). Additional skills in other CAD systems will be beneficial. The role will require the preparation of project drawings, schedules and specifications through all stages of projects, along with the administration of Building Contracts from the JCT range of Contract Forms. Familiarity with local Planning and Building Control Regulations and Standards will be required.
